The following piece explains precisely why CHRIS DUDD deserves a forced retirement next year. What a mental flyweight our now all too senior senator is.H/T Chris Fountain
No. I know I'm way to fallible a human being to willingly subject myself to the temptation smorgasbord laid out before our public servants today.
Look at Mike Bloomberg! He's a $1/year guy who said he'd honor NYC's term limits when first elected and then pushed and succeeded to have them reversed so he could run for a third term.
Unlike so many others (Rangell, Schumer, Reid, Pelosi, Waxman, Frank, Boxer, Murtha and on and on and on), Bloomberg is not a bad guy but after 8 years, he got addicted to the game. How long will it be before he goes the way of them? Lord knows he'd make a lot more money if he went back to the private sector, but its the game itself that is corrupting in the end. Its why I have long favored the imposition of term limits.
LA... Ever run for office?
