But the one below deserves my sparingly awarded and not so coveted Libertarian Advocate Blow Job Award. What won it was the spammer's link to an "anal beads" website. Where it really went, I have no idea. I didn't take the bait.

The link is dead, because the comment is just a screen capture of the originally emailed comment, so "anonymous," you'll get no traffic to your polluted page from my digs.

John Donald Cody - operating under the alias of Bobby Thompson - was (apparently) a Harvard Law School graduate and former military intelligence officer whose true identity was uncovered through 1969 military fingerprints in a database separate from the national crime system.

Most of you have seen the new Barack Obama flag. Yes it looks a lot like a bloody handprint on the wall of the US Consulate in Benghazi where the US Ambassador was sodomized and then murdered along with two Navy SEALs who died defending him and one other as yet unnamed American who worked for the US State Department.

I'm sure that the mainstream media will never comment in any negative way about the flag, but it would seem that it's demise from the Obama for President website has been premature. Apparently some Americans found the flag offensive? How could that be? President Obama loves unicorns, little children and rainbows. In any event, they are no longer being offered by the Obama Campaign website.

News For The Obamaphate: Why I Changed My Vote

I urge all my readers to visit Why I Changed My Vote, a great new site that features everyday Americans who had voted for Barack Obama in 2008 but will now vote for Mitt Romney in 2012. 

The nice thing about the website is that the people featured there come from a broad cross-section of our society from around the country and who tell their stories of profound disappointment in Obama in their own words.

If you stumbled upon my blog and voted for Obama in 2008 but now regret that vote, please don't think you are alone out there, you aren't and its OK not to vote for Obama, in fact its imperative that you don't if you hold out any hope for a bright and prosperous American future for your children and grandchildren.

I personally know two very rich high-powered Democrats who voted for Obama in 2008 but will NOT vote for him this year. Both told me so in whispers so as to avoid being heard by others, but they made it clear that they just wanted the economy to recover and that they couldn't see that happening under Obama. Anecdotal evidence certainly, but if I'm hearing it, so too must be many others like me.

Why do Lying Pollsters Lie? To Push the Herd to Their Desired Result

There are two great blog posts up on the internet today that discuss the reasons why pollsters skew their polls through the use of various tricks to reach a desired result. The consensus of these two writers is that dishonest pollsters actively seek to direct the"herd" to a desired result. You should read their analysis directly at the links provided below, but here's a sample of what they are saying:

Uh Oh... seems the open question now is whether Nakoula Basseley Nakoula is still working for Eric Holder (or David Axelrod),  or has DoJ, having squeezed what juice they could extract from him, dumped his husk onto the compost heap that is Hillary Clinton's fiefdom?

My guess now, he's still working for Holder, in fact I wouldn't be remotely shocked if I learned that all of his recently disclosed "criminal past" is just an elaborate "legend" created for something even more nefarious.

Why Congress Must Demand That Barack Obama Fire Thomas Perez Immediately

On November 13, 2009, Thomas Perez was sworn into the office of Asssistant Attorney General for Civil Rights (Ed: take note of that tragic irony as you watch the video below).

The Oath of Office Perez swore or affirmed to that day, as prescribed by 5 USC §3331, is as follows:

I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God. [Ed.: Bold emphasis added]

In the video clip below, you will watch as Perez repeatedly and pointedly refuses to answer a direct question posed to him by Rep. Trent Franks while Perez was under oath during congressional testimony. Franks uncomplicated question was this:

“Will you tell us here today, simply, that this administration’s Department of Justice will never entertain or advance a proposal that criminalizes speech against any religion?”

It is my view that Thomas Perez violated his Oath of Office by failing to bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America, and that accordingly, he is unfit to serve as an Assistant Attorney General or in any other capacity as an officer of the federal government.

Of the 61 Years (732 Months) that elapsed under the previous 11 presidents, the unemployment rate rose above 8% for just 5.33% over that entire period.

Contrast this with a higher than 8% unemployment rate 100% of the time Obama has been president.

Yet, we are told, that he really, really is the smartest guy in the room (although that could well be true if everyone else in the room is an MSM journalist).

US Credit Rating Cut by Egan-Jones ... Again

Ratings firm Egan-Jones cut its credit rating on the U.S. government to "AA-" from "AA," citing its opinion that quantitative easing from the Federal Reserve would hurt the U.S. economy and the country's credit quality.

In its downgrade, the firm said that issuing more currency and depressing interest rates through purchasing mortgage-backed securities does little to raise the U.S.'s real gross domestic product, but reduces the value of the dollar

In turn, this increases the cost of commodities, which will pressure the profitability of businesses and increase the costs of consumers thereby reducing consumer purchasing power, the firm said.

In April, Egan-Jones cuts the U.S. credit rating to "AA" from "AA+" with a negative watch, citing a lack of progress in cutting the mounting federal debt.

Moody's Investors Service ... currently rates the United States Aaa, Fitch rates the country AAA, and Standard & Poor's rates the country AA- plus. All three of those ratings have a negative outlook.

So Ben, do you Remember W.R. Grace's short-lived "The Debt Trials" PSA in 1986?  I do. When it ran, our national debt was 2 Trillion Dollars. Now its 16 Trillion and thanks to you and your buddy Barack its accelerating out of control. Heck of a job, Ben! Hollywood has become such an echo chamber for left-wing political causes that conservatives there think of themselves as Christians in pre-Constantine Rome; they complain of being attacked verbally for being “stupid,” and, irony of ironies, even blacklisted.

It’s a chicken-and-egg debate whether studios and producers know that they can’t get any A-list stars for a traditional, America-loving movie and so don’t even try, or whether these projects don’t exist because Hollywood doesn’t even think that way anymore.
In any event, this public violation of the compact between star and audience has had an insidious, trickle-down effect even on films that steer clear of politics.  (See, for example: Julia Roberts’ career and paycheck in the decade since she said Republican falls in the dictionary between reptile and repugnant.) So when a movie like 2016 comes along—a documentary, no less—and expresses a message antithetical to mainstream Hollywood but is beautiful music to mainstream America, mainstream Hollywood has to come up with an explanation that preserves its moral vanity.  And it does: racism.

Thus, Hollywood will continue committing suicide by a thousand cuts…and independent producers who manage to raise the money, as D’Souza did, for movies that appeal to the great unwashed may very well find it vastly easier to sign deals with distributors and exhibitors who are in business, after all, to make money.

The last time we looked at monthly Chinese imports of gold from Hong Kong in 2012, the comparable country in question was Portugal (whose citizens, if not central bank, incidentally have run out of gold to sell), because that is whose total gold holdings (at 382.5 tons) Chinese imports had just surpassed. Fast forward a month later, and the update is even more disturbing. In July, Chinese gold imports from HK, after two months of declines, have picked up once more and hit a 3-month high of 75.8 tons. While it is notable that this number is double the 38.1 tons imported a year prior, and that year-to-date imports are now a record 458.6 tons, well over four times greater than the seven month total in 2011 which was 103.9 tons, what is far more important is that in the first seven months of 2012 alone China has imported nearly as much gold as the total holdings of the hedge fund at the heart of the Eurozone, elsewhere known simply as the European Central Bank, and just as importantly considering the import run-rate has hardly slowed down in August, which data we will have in a few weeks, it is now safe to say that in 2012 alone China has imported more gold than the ECB's entire official 502.1 tons of holdings.

Well, Duh!!!!!! - French pessimism nears all-time high

Reuters is reporting French polling data that shows that France's love affair with Francois Hollande is over. 

The French are bleaker about their country's future than at any time since 2005, a new poll showed on Saturday, with 68 percent saying they are "rather" or "very" pessimistic, the highest level ever in the initial months of a new presidency.

The level of pessimism fell just short of an all-time high of 70 percent registered in August 2005, when the poll was created near the end of Jacques Chirac's government.

Hollande's government has been reeling from unemployment at a 13-year high and a rash of job cuts in recent weeks at top employers like carmaker Peugeot and retailer Carrefour. The government launched a plan this week to create 150,000 state-sponsored jobs for youth.

The Washington Examiner is reporting new polling data that indicates that the Youth Vote will increase by 50% in 2012 over the 2008 figure. While the poll did not ask for whom the respondents intended to vote, it did ask what was motivating them. Anger over the economy, severely curtailed disposable income, piss poor job prospects seem to be the drivers in 2012.

KASPERSKY Trojan Alert - "Gauss", Son of "FLAME" is a state-sponsored banking spy trojan

Normally, I don't help companies advertise their services, and I'm certainly not pushing Kaspersky on anyone, but this story piqued my curiosity. For now Gauss is targeting account holders in the mid east, but how long will it be before the Obamaphate mandates we all infect our computers with I.R.S. drafted Gaussian code?

Kaspersky Lab Discovers ‘Gauss’ – A New Complex Cyber-Threat Designed to Monitor Online Banking Accounts

Woburn, MA – August 9, 2012 - Kaspersky Lab announces the discovery of ‘Gauss’, a new cyber-threat targeting users in the Middle East. Gauss is a complex, nation-state sponsored cyber-espionage toolkit designed to steal sensitive data, with a specific focus on browser passwords, online banking account credentials, cookies, and specific configurations of infected machines.
The online banking Trojan functionality found in Gauss is a unique characteristic that was not found in any previously known cyber-weapons.
Gauss was discovered during the course of the ongoing effort initiated by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), following the discovery of Flame. The effort is aimed at mitigating the risks posed by cyber-weapons, which is a key component in achieving the overall objective of global cyber-peace.
ITU, with expertise provided by Kaspersky Lab, is taking important steps to strengthen global cyber-security by actively collaborating with all relevant stakeholders such as governments, the private sector, international organizations and civil society, in addition to its key partners within the ITU-IMPACT initiative.
Kaspersky Lab’s experts discovered Gauss by identifying commonalities the malicious program share with Flame. These include similar architectural platforms, module structures, code bases and means of communication with command & control (C&C) servers.
Quick facts:
●     Analysis indicates that Gauss began operations in the September 2011 timeframe.
●     It was first discovered in June 2012, resulting from the knowledge gained by the in-depth analysis and research conducted on the Flame malware.
●     This discovery was made possible due to strong resemblances and correlations between Flame and Gauss.
●     The Gauss C&C infrastructure was shutdown in July 2012 shortly after its discovery. Currently the malware is in a dormant state, waiting for its C&C servers to become active.
●     Since late May 2012, more than 2,500 infections were recorded by Kaspersky Lab’s cloud-based security system, with the estimated total number of victims of Gauss probably being in the tens of thousands. This number is lower compared to the case of Stuxnet but it’s significantly higher than the number of attacks in Flame and Duqu.
●     Gauss steals detailed information about infected PCs including browser history, cookies, passwords, and system configurations. It is also capable of stealing access credentials for various online banking systems and payment methods.
●     Analysis of Gauss shows it was designed to steal data from several Lebanese banks including the Bank of Beirut, EBLF, BlomBank, ByblosBank, FransaBank and Credit Libanais. In addition, it targets users of Citibank and PayPal.
The new malware was discovered by Kaspersky Lab’s experts in June 2012. Its main module was named by the unknown creators after the German mathematician Johann Carl Friedrich Gauss. Other components bear the names of famous mathematicians as well, including Joseph-Louis Lagrange and Kurt Gödel. The investigation revealed that the first incidents with Gauss date back as early as September 2011. In July 2012 the command and control servers of Gauss stopped functioning.
Multiple modules of Gauss serve the purpose of collecting information from browsers, which include the history of visited websites and passwords. Detailed data on the infected machine is also sent to the attackers, including specifics of network interfaces, the computer’s drives and BIOS information. The Gauss module is also capable of stealing data from the clients of several Lebanese banks including the Bank of Beirut, EBLF, BlomBank, ByblosBank, FransaBank and Credit Libanais. It also targets users of Citibank and PayPal.
Another key feature of Gauss is the ability to infect USB thumb drives, using the same LNK vulnerability that was previously used in Stuxnet and Flame. At the same time, the process of infecting USB sticks is more intelligent. Gauss is capable of “disinfecting” the drive under certain circumstances, and uses the removable media to store collected information in a hidden file. Another activity of the Trojan is the installation of a special font called Palida Narrow, and the purpose of this action is still unknown.
While Gauss is similar to Flame in design, the geography of infections is noticeably different. The highest number of computers hit by Flame was recorded in Iran, while the majority of Gauss victims were located in Lebanon. The number of infections is also different. Based on telemetry reported from the Kaspersky Security Network (KSN), Gauss infected approximately 2,500 machines. In comparison, Flame was significantly lower, infecting closer to 700 machines.
Although the exact method used to infect the computers is not yet known, it is clear that Gauss propagates in a different manner to Flame or Duqu; however, similar to the two previous cyber-espionage weapons, Gauss’ spreading mechanisms are conducted in a controlled fashion, which emphasize stealth and secrecy for the operation.
Alexander Gostev, Chief Security Expert, Kaspersky Lab, commented: “Gauss bears striking resemblances to Flame, such as its design and code base, which enabled us to discover the malicious program. Similar to Flame and Duqu, Gauss is a complex cyber-espionage toolkit, with its design emphasizing stealth and secrecy; however, its purpose was different to Flame or Duqu. Gauss targets multiple users in select countries to steal large amounts of data, with a specific focus on banking and financial information.”
At the present time, the Gauss Trojan is successfully detected, blocked and remediated by Kaspersky Lab’s products, classified as Trojan-Spy.Win32.Gauss.

Vice President Joe Biden identified with the struggles of ordinary American in an Iowa campaign speech today.

"The unemployed are really in trouble," Biden said in a campaign stop in Dubuque."My grandpop used to say — from Scranton — he said, Joey, the guy in Dunmore, the next town over, when the guy in Dunmore is out of work it's an economic slowdown. When your brother in law is out of work it's a recession. When you're out of work it's a depression. It's a depression for millions and millions of Americans."

Biden then launched into a critique of Mitt Romney's record and outsourcing, saying he believes that the American worker is part of the problem. Story here with video.

Ehrrrrr...  WTF????  Here I was thinking that the Obamaphate's central campaign theme is that we are in fact in a recovery - a slow one fer shure - but a recovery nevertheless. Biden is - once again - off the message reservation. It's almost as if Biden is really campaigning for Mittens.

News From The Obamaphate: Americans' wealth falls 40% in last three years.

The Washington Post is reporting that the Fed has announced a 40% decline in Americans' wealth...

"The net worth of the American family has fallen to its lowest level in two decades, according to government data released Monday, driven by a more than 40 percent drop in their stakes in their homes.

The Federal Reserve’s detailed survey of consumer finances showed families’ median wealth plunged from $126,400 in 2007 to $77,300 in 2010 — a 39 percent decline. That put them on par with median wealth in 1992."
