You guys need to — you need to stop this. It’s not an organic thing that’s just happening. You guys are behind it. [More at America's Watchtower]

Note to Eric Holder: Man up, but please, please, please do not resign!

Stolen History Viral Video: The Uncivil History of the Democrat Party

Blogging friend Matt who pens Conservative Hideout has a link to a video titled Stolen History. The video is a somewhat long - but well worth watching - promotional piece for a recent book by Frantz Kebreau on the Democrat Party's long  - and many would argue continuing - sordid history on black civil rights.

Sum and substance: The Democrat Party ain't what you've been taught to think it is.

Libertarian Advocate Blow Job Award #2 Goes to Eric Mar of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors

I almost created a whole new award category for Eric Mar (the L.A. Brain-dead Douchebag Award) but in as much as Mar hails from San Francisco, I thought he could easily be shoe-horned into the Blow-Job Award for his dubious achievement in authoring San Francisco's Happy Meal Law.

It seems Mar's law will not have the effect intended, which was to compel the chain to provide more nutritious meals if those meals come bundled with a toy. Seems Micky D's lawyers have figured out how to stick it to Mar and his fellow "Supervisors" while remaining within the letter of the new law.

Today and tomorrow mark the last days that put-upon parents can satiate their youngsters by simply throwing down $2.18 for a Happy Meal toy. But, thanks to the new law taking effect on Dec. 1, this is no longer permitted. Now, in order to have the privilege of making a 10-cent charitable donation in exchange for the toy, you must buy the Happy Meal. Hilariously, it appears Mar et al., in their desire to keep McDonald's from selling grease and fat to kids with the lure of a toy have now actually incentivized the purchase of that grease and fat -- when, beforehand, a put-upon parent could get out cheaper and healthier with just the damn toy.

Hard to kill...  [Click here for the whole story]

Messages for Mar and his legislative aides -- who are, at this moment, in a Board of Supervisors meeting -- have not yet been returned. [Ed. Note: Isn't this always the case when legislative nitwits are called to account for the results of their stupidity?]
So, Eric Mar you are now officially the recipient of the second Libertarian Advocate Blow-Job Award. Congratulations!

And the First Libertarian Advocate Blow Job Award goes to the BBC

When I lived in Washingtoon many years ago, I remember seeing one of the funniest bumper stickers I've ever seen: A Blow-Job is Better than No Job. So, remembering that sticker, I now introduce the Libertarian Advocate Blow-Job Award. BBC is the first recipient of this rather less than prestigious prize for this ridiculous piece of Schlock Journalism:

Blagojevich fundraiser Antoin Rezko jailed for fraud

Antoin Rezko 4 June 2008
Disgraced former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's top fundraiser has been sentenced to 10-and-a-half years in jail for corruption.

Antoin Rezko, a former Chicago real estate developer, used his influence to secure government deals and kickbacks.

The 56-year-old also was a political fundraiser for Barack Obama during his campaigns to be senator for Illinois.  Mr Obama was not accused of wrongdoing, but his political enemies attempted to exploit the issue in 2008's election.

'Extensive corruption'
Rezko's legal team had asked the federal judge to set him free, taking into account the three-and-a-half years of prison time he has already served.

But as she passed sentence, US District Judge Amy St Eve said: "You defrauded the people of Illinois; you engaged in extensive corruption throughout the state of Illinois."

Syrian-born Rezko was convicted in 2008 of fraud, money laundering and planning millions of dollars in kickbacks for contracts during Blagojevich's term in office.
Blagojevich was convicted this year on charges that included trying to sell President Obama's old Senate seat. He is expected to get about 10 years when he is sentenced next month.
Rezko's sentencing was postponed after he agreed to co-operate with prosecutors, but authorities say he could not provide any useful information.
Apparently, the author of this unsigned garbage story, has conveniently forgotten that now President Obama purchased a partial property adjacent to his own residential lot from Tony Rezko. The property deal enlarged Mr. Obama's lot substantially, while rendering Rezko's then split lot useless under Chicago's zoning law.
And you think Rezko did Obama that favor for free?  Enjoy your Blow-Job Award Schmoo.

CNN Formally Abdicates its Credibility

“We are in the business of kicking candidates out of the race.” - CNN host Howard Kurtz
Howard: CNN and all its media brethren are supposed to be in the business of objectively and dispassionately reporting the news. When you engage in the censoring of news, including the purposeful effective silencing of Presidential candidates such as Ron Paul, or anyone else, you do your viewership a vile disservice and you besmirch the very law that America's founders saw fit to enshrine as the First Amendment to the Federal Constitution to give you and your profession an indispensable protection from the Federal Government to tell the truth.

You - and those of your colleagues who think as you do - are thoroughly contemptible disgraces to your profession. It is my sincere hope that you lose what few viewers you have left, and along with them, your very livelihood. You are undeserving.

Stupid Liberal Judicial Tricks

Back on  May 6, 2010  I reported here how five California High School students were sent home when they refused to remove American Flag T-shirts. I predicted they would sue, they did, and THEY LOST.

In a deeply disturbing - but sadly not at all surprising - decision, a California Federal District Court has sided with the school district.

California is well and truly screwed.
